GT Healthcare would like to welcome Kacee Wheeler to our therapy team!
Kacee is a compassionate and affirming therapist that has earned a master’s degree in marriage and family with a specialization in LGBTQIA+ and trauma, she has been dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for individuals, couples, and families to explore their emotions and relationships. With a deep understanding of the complexities of human connection, she helps clients navigate personal and interpersonal challenges with empathy and support. Kacee is particularly skilled at addressing the needs of LGBTQIA+ clients, ensuring that their unique experiences are honored and respected. Her approach emphasizes the importance of inclusion and affirmation, fostering healing and growth in a welcoming environment.
Specializing in trauma, Kacee works with clients to process and heal from difficult life experiences, recognizing the profound impact trauma can have on one’s mental and emotional well-being. She uses evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual’s needs, promoting resilience and empowerment throughout the therapeutic journey. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, Kacee is dedicated to helping their clients build healthier relationships with themselves and others. Kacee also has experience working with various mental health disorders such as substance use, depression, anxiety, gender dysphoria, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.

As we approach the New Year, we want to share some important updates regarding insurance coverage at GT Healthcare.
Starting Early 2025, GT Healthcare will no longer be accepting United Healthcare.
However, we remain committed to supporting our patients who are currently covered by this plan. For those with United Healthcare, we can:
Offer sliding scale rates and discounted cash pricing.
Continue to bill as an out-of-network provider if your plan includes out-of-network benefits.
File for single-case agreements upon request to allow continued care in 2025.
New In-Network Insurances: Starting in 2025, GT Healthcare will be in-network with the following insurance providers:
Aetna
Cigna
Evernorth
Magellan
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
Blue Shield of California
Additionally, we will continue to accept all Medicare plans.
